"No place is boring when you have an imagination"

Life never brings a dull moment yet some people lock away the power of their imagination and take in the world as a place of no joy. Living life to no end, finding the cycle... perpetual.

The power of imagination is mightier than you think, 2 individuals can see the same empty room in 2 drastically different ways, to one it is of a prison while to another it is canvas, opening the mind up to endless possibilities.

To restrict myself to any stretch in the empty room dawns the eternity of imprisonment onto me, I'm not a prisoner, I'm an artist, working on something greater than the world itself.

"There is no escape from fate, a cruel reality life brings upon us regardless of fault"

In 1853, The US sent 4 ships to the coast of Tokyo and demanded that Japan out of Sakoku - the Japanese isolation to the world since the 1700's.

Less than 90 years later and Japan was in WWII, what a twisted fate right? A country that was supposed to stay isolated is now in a world war. But that's not all, remember Pearl Harbour? After which the US nuked 2 Japanese cities.

To say that the world has it's way with fate is no lie, no one could have seen it coming and when it happened, nothing could have been done. A butterfly effect of one small action has led to the unnecessary deaths of hundreds of thousands of innocent people.

Constantly thinking of this when I am about to do something that could impact another person or even myself. To ask myself how this would change things for everyone. It is important to me to keep the people I share this world with safe from my actions.

Would you rather lose your ability to speak or the ability to hear?

The ability to speak is one of many uses. To communicate with others and transverse this world we would need the ability to speak. However, there is more than one way to communicate, the ability to speak is only one of many, images, text and even art is a form of communication and should not be taken for granted, to lose my ability to speak would only force me to find another means of communication, maybe there is a better way out there.

The ability to hear on the other hand is more complex, danger lurks around everywhere and the sounds allow us to have a sense of our surroundings. Though we can go through life without hearing, it is much harder. Maybe one day we may find another way to have that sense.

I only ask this as there are many people out there without these abilities yet they manage to thrive in a world that wasn't built for them. We should take into account how other people live their lives in our world and when we do, our understanding of the world changes. Perspective is one of many gifts from those who have lost so much.
